Occupational Therapist for the Neuropsychiatric Assessment Unit at NU Healthcare

NU Healthcare is part of the Västra Götaland region and is one of Sweden's larger county hospitals. We are located at NÄL (Norra Älvsborg County Hospital) in Trollhättan and Uddevalla Hospital. The hospital's catchment area covers 280,000 inhabitants. Together, we are about 5,000 employees who work every day to provide good and safe specialist healthcare. We are located on the west coast, and our area offers varied nature with both sea, mountains, forests, and lakes.

About the Unit

The Neuropsychiatric Assessment Unit in Uddevalla investigates particularly complicated neuropsychiatric conditions in adults; primarily suspected autism spectrum disorders, but also complicated ADHD and coexisting psychiatric conditions.

However, this assignment may change in the spring of 2026 to include other psychiatric conditions as well.

About the Position

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a qualified occupational therapist. Experience in psychiatry and particularly in psychiatric assessments is an advantage.

As a person, you are responsible, structured, organized, creative, and interested. You have good collaboration skills. You enjoy working independently and in a team. You are positive and engaged and want to contribute to the development of the unit's work and routines in the right direction. We work in a fast-paced and changing environment, and it is important that you can handle it in a way that benefits both the organization and your own recovery. Personal suitability is highly valued.
